McCarthy Media Group offers crisis communications training to give your staff hands-on experience, and prepare them to handle such events with strategic and consistent messages.
Media exercise simulation is the most effective form of crisis communications training. It typically involves a group of experienced media professionals, your organization's communications unit, and the employees who have been identified as spokespersons.
In collaboration with Allan Joyner Productions, McCarthy Media Group has conducted many crisis communications exercises of varying sizes and scopes. The largest of these involved full scale simulations of a television network news organization created to realistically test the client's ability to respond to media pressure during a major crisis.
Exercise Triple Play (2005) was a tri-national anti-terrorism exercise that involved 19 departments and agencies of the Government of Canada, the Department of Homeland Security in the US, the Home Office in the UK and exercise media teams from each of the three countries.
