McCarthy Media Group has been involved in two large-scale implementation projects, keeping employees informed about the consolidation of office space for two major federal departments: the Department of Justice Implementation Project (1996/97) and Passport Canada (2003/2004).
The Department of Justice Implementation Project involved coordinating the move of 1,300 employees working in the National Capital Region to its new Justice Headquarters on Wellington Street in downtown Ottawa. Passport Canada moved 700 employees from five locations in Ottawa and the Outaouais to a brand new building at 70 Crémazie in the Hull sector of Gatineau, Quebec.
McCarthy Media Group supported internal communications and facilities management staff to create and help deliver a comprehensive communications strategy. These successful strategies ensured that employees of both departments had the information they needed for a smooth transition to their new office space. |
